Will DeBouver is a licensed South Carolina Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA), Certified Forensic Accountant (Cr.FA), and a Master Tax Advisor (MTA) with more than 20 combined years of experience in public accounting, private accounting, management accounting, and corporate controllership.

As a Certified Public Accountant, he has audited dozens of public, private and non-profit organizations; prepared thousands of individual, partnership and corporate tax returns and managed the tax and audit department of a regional CPA firm. In addition, he has six years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment and four years of controllership experience in a chemical manufacturing industry.

As a Certified Fraud Examiner, Mr. DeBouver’s unique background blends knowledge of complex financial and accounting transactions with an understanding of law, criminology and examination of fraud allegations and his expertise includes identifying opportunities to reduce fraud, implementing anti-fraud controls, educating management and employees on the deterrence of fraud, resolving allegations or suspicions of fraud, and assisting in the recovery of fraud losses.

As a Certified Forensic Accountant, Mr. DeBouver’s is qualified to assist attorneys in matters concerning pending or existing litigation with issue identification, fact-finding, analysis, discovery assistance, document management, settlement assistance, expert testimony, trial and deposition assistance, pre-trial and post-trial support, negotiations, arbitration, mediation, training and the quantification of economic damages or the calculation of economic losses.

Will holds a BBA in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University and attended graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Cameron School of Business. Will is a current and active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute (ACFEI).
